8.00am – 8.00pm
Visiting outside of these hours can be discussed with the Nurse in Charge on a case-by-case basis. If approved, entry to the Acute Ward is via Urgent Care.
Entrance – Main Reception
Entrance for Reception, Community Services, Specialist Consulting Rooms or Pharmacy – enter from Connor Street carpark.
Hospital Entrance
Entrance for Hospital, Day Surgery or Pre-admission – enter at the Main Reception Entrance in Connor Street
Parking
Parking is free.
Main car park accommodates 66 vehicles. This includes designated car parking for the following:
- Client car parking x 6
- All Abilities car parking x 2
- Dialysis Clients x 3
- Visitors x 1
Main car park has 3 x 20 minute car park spaces
Connor Street – time limits apply
Miller Street – time limits apply
Hart Street – no time limits on parking

Colac has a public bus services which stops opposite Colac Area Health in Connor Street.

Colac Area Health is situated approximately 600 m from the station at Colac with an estimated walking time of 8 minutes. Trains run from Melbourne to Warrnambool. For timetables and fares visit VLine
Volunteer Transport
Volunteer transport is available to consumers of Colac Area Health who may need help getting to and from medical appointments as well Colac Area Health service programs. To check if you are eligible to access the volunteer transportation, please contact our Volunteer Coordinator on 5232 5100.
Cafeteria
Colac Area Health cafeteria provides hot and cold food and drink options for both clients and staff. Opening hours are 9.30 am to 2.00 pm.
