This week we recognise and celebrate National Palliative Care Week! This important week, held from 21 – 27 May, raises awareness about the crucial role of palliative care in providing support, compassion, and comfort to individuals and families facing life-limiting illnesses.
Palliative care is all about enhancing the quality of life for those with a serious illness and ensuring they receive the best possible care during their journey. It focuses on providing physical, emotional, and spiritual support to patients, as well as assisting their loved ones through this challenging time.
Together, we can make a difference in the lives of those living with life-limiting illnesses and their families. Join us for National Palliative Care Week and let’s shine a light on the importance of compassionate care.
