Our inaugural fete was held last Sunday in the sunshine in our South front garden.
We were very blessed with absolutely perfect weather, and we had a wonderful display of all sorts of goods for purchase.
Attendance to the fete was very positive and included visits from CAH staff, both past and present, residents and families, and members of the community.
A wonderful range of goods were made and donated by residents, family members and staff.
Face painting and balloons for our younger visitors, cakes, preserves, craft, books, jewellery, plants, our Easter raffle and of course our BBQ, meant there was something for everyone.
A big thank you to Pam Ross and her lifestyle team for initiating the event, Geoff Iles for his support, along with Corangamarah staff who generously volunteered their goods, time and lots of enthusiasm.
The fabulous work by Colac West Rotary to man our BBQ was greatly appreciated, bread kindly donated by Darren Cook.
Face painting was provided by Kammie Brooks who was not only excellent, but also greatly appreciated.
Without the support of such a strong team, this event would not have happened.
Everyone is very excited about making this an annual event.
The results of the day were $2,462, this is a terrific result
