LiveUp is a free national healthy ageing initiative funded by the Department of Health and Aged Care. It’s a co-designed resource for health professionals and community members to help people 65+ and First Nations people 50+ to maintain their independence as they age.
Based on a wellness and reablement approach LiveUp guides participants to complete a simple quiz, after which they receive a summary of information and guidance around activities and supports in their local area, assistive technology product options and simple tips to make their everyday living easier at home and in the community. LiveUp is free and confidential.
The session is suitable for community members, carers and for staff working within aged health services.
